Message from Superintendent Augustadt

July 1, 2020

Dear Staff, Parents, and Community,

As I begin my 13th year in education, I am excited and thrilled about the opportunities that are in front of us. This is obviously a different environment that any of us could have predicted, but I feel confident that the character and culture of this community will continue to shine as we face these challenges head on and with the same driving spirit that has endured here for generations. We are family here and we survive and thrive by putting our kids first and supporting each other.

As your new superintendent of the Marcola School District, I plan to focus on the 4 Foundational Pillars of Success; Student Outcomes, Community Centered Culture, Building Instructional Capacity and continuing the relentless pursuit for Future Forward Facilities.  I look forward to meeting and learning from all the community members and active partners that make this such a great place to raise our kids.

My mantra; “It’s About The Kids”, this will continue to be at the core of everything we do.

Terry Augustadt
