October 2021 ESPY Winners

ESPY: Exceptional Student Performance this Year – award is given to students who are doing well academically and have an exceptionally positive attitude about school. They demonstrate respect and responsibility towards staff and their peers.  They show courage by not conforming to Peer pressure and refuse to accept anyone who bullies.

The MSD School Board and the District want to recognize these students by celebrating their success at the beginning of each Board Meeting each month.  Students receive a certificate, meet each of our Board members, and their names are announced on the district website.

October 2021 ESPY Winners

Juliet Devenport – 6th grade

Juliet is eager to learn and comes to class prepared and ready for school. She is a great role model for others, always puts forth her best effort,  and is encouraging and helpful to others. She has a growth mindset and is open to learning and trying new ways to complete a task.”

McKenna Gallaway – 8th grader

McKenna is a consistent, responsible student who always does her best and goes the extra mile. She not only turns in stellar work, but she’s also always willing to help a classmate.

Anna Kinnigkeit – 11th grader

“Anna is present every day, and they contribute meaningfully to class discussion. Anna is friendly to peers and teachers, while also acting in a manner that promotes good conversation and challenges others in the classroom. Anna consistently gets work in on time, maintaining one of the highest grades in several classes. This is a feat, considering that English is their second language. Anna has exhibited this exemplary behavior for the entire school year.”

These students are all shining examples of the MSD spirit and we are thrilled to be able to recognize them for being exceptional students.
