A Unique Virtual Experience Celebrating Student Art
We cordially invite friends, students and family to join us for a virtual reception on June 4th from 3p-5p. These two galleries feature a large collection of artwork and music created by our very own TEACH-NW students in grades K-12. Parents, friends and family are encouraged to join, chat and celebrate our student’s creativity in an immersive virtual environment.
For this visual experience we are using Hubs by Mozilla, a free and open-source social VR platform that is steadily growing in popularity. You can connect to this exhibition on any device, however we recommend using a laptop, PC or VR headset. You can connect on a mobile device, but the experience may not be as enjoyable.
If you’ve ever played video games on a computer or a phone, this site uses similar controls to move and look around. To move your avatar, use the WASD keys on your keyboard. To look around, left-click your mouse and drag your mouse. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but many students understand the controls quickly, so don’t be afraid to ask for help. For VR headset controls, please refer to this link.
Please click the button below to join. You can join at any time, but we hope to see you at the reception as well! Contact Anthony White if you have any questions. See you in the gallery!
