2019 Mohawk FFA Chapter Leadership Camp was a huge success. Officers and Committee chairmen diligently accomplished an update to a variety of policies and expectations while expanding their character as a leader. But most importantly, they did some awesome bonding. We are all so proud of this group of young leaders. Big Thank You to our host Brandon and Jen Mattox and our chaperone and photographer Rachel and Mike Eisele. Corbin Mattox thanks for hanging with us on your birthday! ... See MoreSee Less

Today is the day our Mohawk FFA members have been working for, The Lane County Fair Youth Auction. Each members contributes it's own money or borrows it from friends and family in order to spend countless hours feeding, cleaning, and training these animals. Most have had hardship along the way - lost an animal and started over, training turmoil, long nights and early mornings because animals don't feed themselves even after basketball games and track meets, and experiencing frustration the learning process bring us all at times. Genuinely a experience they take on themselves all in the name of education.

Every year I watch our students grow and pass that knowledge to the next generation. This group of kids embodies the core characteristics every agriculturalist must possess - honest, work working, community minded individuals. I'm proud to be their advisor and I invite you to support their endeavors.

The auctions starts in the horse arena at the fairgrounds at 2pm. Please come. Buy an animals, add on money, or donate to them directly, say hi to our students. Some students have back up animals for sale and would appreciate your support. Message me - I'm happy to help.
