Marcola School Board Members are elected each year and usually meet once a month unless a special hearing is held. School Board Members volunteer their time to work with district staff and administrators to execute our collective vision for the youth of our great community. Should you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us the school board online or come to one of our public monthly hearings.

Regular board meetings are scheduled for the 2nd Monday of each month at 6 PM.

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Marcola School District #79J, Lane County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, will be held on April 22, 2024, at 5:30 PM at the Mohawk HS room 202, 38300 Wendling Road, Marcola, Oregon. The purpose of the meeting is for the committee to receive the budget message and to receive comments from the public on the proposed budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting to ask questions or make comments to the Budget Committee. An additional meeting may be held on May 20, 2024, at the Mohawk HS room 202 at 5:30 pm. A copy of the proposed budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after April 15, 2024, at the Marcola School District Office between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
