It's time to register for middle and high school Winter Sports. We are excited to announce that we will be offering MS Cheer this upcoming season! As well as MS and HS boys and girls basketball. Please register at the link below or through the District website. It's important to register early to be sure all athletes have current physicals through winter season before practice starts. We also have teams ordering new uniforms and need accurate team sizes. HS basketball practice starts November 13th. MS cheer and basketball start dates will be announced soon. Mohawk is hosting a College and Career night Wednesday, October 18th from 5-7pm. Families and students are welcome to attend and learn more about the college application process, financial aid, and meet with businesses who are hiring in the area. If YOU own a business in the area and are looking to hire students, please contact Libby in the College and Career office.

Thursday October 19th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the Marcola Youth Center will be hosting a Halloween Hangout for MMS @ the Marcola Youth Center. Costumes are encouraged, but not required. All school rules apply. Students must be picked up by an adult. Pizza will be provided. Come join the fun!

Tomorrow, Tuesday September 5th, is the first day of school! School begins at 8am for all grades. Elementary ends at 2:50pm for kids being picked up, and 3pm for bus riders. There is elementary after-school program available for a fee from 3-4pm starting tomorrow! Middle and high school end at 4pm. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning!

We are raffling off a basket this week that contains all the items in the picture as well as a 60 Minute massage! Tickets are $1.00 a piece and we will be drawing the winner Thursday August 31st @ Marcola School District's open house. You can purchase tickets prior by contacting teck@marcola.k12.or.us.! The district is getting ready to host our annual open house on 8/31/23, from 5-7. All community members are welcome. This is a free event, and includes a home volleyball game! The first day of school is right around the corner on 9/5/23, so make sure your student is registered.
