The Mohawk Middle and High School theater class will be performing their spring play, Alice's Adventures with Poorly-Cooked Cafeteria Seafood by Don Zolidis, on Thursday, June 6 at 6:30pm in the elementary gym. Join our heroine, Alice, as she navigates a reality and a wonderland full of strange creatures--and her annoying little brother--and finds at the end of her journey that there's nothing wrong with being average. Admission is free. We hope to see everyone there this Thursday at 6:30pm!

Recently, they sent us this cool pic to let us know they enjoyed their visit, think of our awesome little community often, and....GO MUSTANGS!

Congratulations to Junior Ewan O'Dea! He competed this weekend at the OSAA 1A Track & Field State Championships at Historic Hayward Field in Eugene. He finished 5th in the state at the 1A level in 300M Hurdles. Nice job Ewan!

Mohawk High School is seeking members to form a Mohawk High School Hall of Fame committee. The committee will meet annually to nominate and induct former Mohawk HS athletes, teams, coaches and administrators that meet the committee's criteria. If you are a coach, volunteer, booster club member or Mohawk HS alumni and interested in serving on this committee, please contact James Tharp: jtharp@marcola.k12.or.us. Additionally, if you know someone that you think would be interested in serving on this committee (particularly those members of the community that coached or attended Mohawk in 1976 or before), please shar thisl with them.
The first meeting for this committee will be on Tuesday, June 11th. Our goal will be to form a committee, elect officers and begin the process of nominating and inducting the first class of Mohawk High School Hall of Fame members before the start of the fall season 2024.

Submit a letter explaining why you need the scholarship, include transcript for GPA, plans for the future, some background-family, community service, and attendance...

EARLY RELEASE REMINDER: This Thursday, 4/25/24, is an early release day for all MSD students. All students will have lunch, and then be dismissed at 11:55am. NO elementary after school program. The Mohawk Booster Club and Marcola Youth Center are in need of student and parent volunteers to assist with bingo night on April 27 in the Elementary Gym. Setup begins at 5:00 pm. They are seeking assistance for setting up tables and making tacos, as well as announcing the bingo number, etc. Show up or send an email if you are available: delanahansen@msn.com
