Staff will be on site to supervise the gym, weight room, and additional spaces for board games and video games. Marcola School District continued it's partnership with the Marcola Youth Center to support the youth center's Community Christmas event. The Marcola Youth Center continues to provide our students with opportunities to feel welcome, supported, and loved. It is a pleasure to support their efforts, and amazing to see our community come together, to support Marcola kids of all ages.

Please join us for a night of MMS girls and boys basketball games tomorrow 12/6/23 in the high school gym. MMS PTO will be having a basket raffle full of great items that were generously donated to support Mohawk Middle School: $1.00 a ticket or 6 for $5.00. You do not have to be present to win. PTO will also be selling pizza in the concessions stand! All proceeds support Mohawk Middle School sports, activities, and events.

Hello, Mohawk High School! From November 27th to December 7th, there will be a Can Food Drive. The Marcola Community Christmas Can Food Drive will be organized by the student council. 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀. Also, the Marcola Community Market will have their own Can Food Drive event on December 9th from 1 PM - 4 PM. All Mohawk Middle School students will be going on a field trip tomorrow, Wed 11/29, to the OSU campus for an interactive, educational OSU Women's basketball game! Students will depart the school at 9am, and return at 3pm. Each student has the choice between a school sack lunch, lunch from home, or bring cash for the concession stand. Please NO glass, metal, hard lunch boxes, or aluminum cans. No backpacks allowed. No permission slips needed, utilizing passive permission, if you do NOT want your child to attend the field trip please email Jacky @ jlee@marcola.k12.or.us We are very excited for this fun, educational opportunity!
Welcome to basketball season!! MS and HS have their first and second games this week. If you are heading to Myrtle Point tomorrow, the JV boys play at Myrtle Crest Elementary. Everyone else plays at Myrtle Point HS.
